Following graduation, Mr. Hicks spent the next couple of years in the business world in management, until he decided to pursue his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA, graduating in 2004. Upon passing the bar exam the same year, Mr. Hicks worked as an associate attorney at a civil law firm in San Diego, CA, where he represented many different hospitals throughout California in a variety of aspects.
Following his employment there, Mr. Hicks was an associate attorney at a civil/criminal law firm in Santa Ana, CA, where he practiced primarily in the area of criminal defense, with some experience in personal injury. Most recently, Mr. Hicks worked as an attorney at criminal defense law firm in Irvine, California.
